Women from all over the world are traveling to Portland, Oregon to learn at our Palmer/Pletsch Sewing School. They are loving meeting like-minded women and learning more about sewing. They come from all walks of life but have a common thread—they want to sew. Some are new to sewing and others are returning to fashion sewing after switching to sewing quilts. They want to sew clothes but have trouble fitting themselves. We have developed a method of trying on the paper pattern tissue and altering it until it fits. We've dubbed it the Palmer/Pletsch Tissue-Fitting Method.
